This sculpture is the outcome of three years of the artist exploring coral stone. The national stone of Barbados.  The reason this island exists. 
The artist has taken an under appreciated material and has explored it's possibilities in art, with sculptures, prints and a new book. 
The value of this beautiful material is it's powerful voice in the climate change discussion, through it's unmistakable ocean character. 
This sculpture is part of a series of seven individual unique pieces to be viewed across three different locations across Barbados.
